A "kawaii" visit to the Louis Vouitton Foundation
Creativity and imagination are key to a child's happiness and the Louis Vuitton Foundation does a wonderful job in helping Parisian families cultivate these two values from an early age. From now until August 27th, the Foundation proposes two guided family tours:
The "Planet Murakami" story trail for 3-5 year olds
The "Kawaii" Family Tour for 6-12 year olds
Explained in simple terms, the tour guides are able to help the young guests understand the message and inspiration behind each work of art...for example, knowing why there are so many colorful eyes on Murakami's sculptures or what is the mission of the adorable guardians with a flower in "Planet Murakami".
At the end of the exhibit, you can stop by the boutique for a souvenir or choose from their wonderful selection of art books. Otherwise, you can head up to the rooftop for a nice ice cream from Pierre Marcolini while enjoying a panoramic view of the city. Having fun with your kids, developing their imagination and having access to one of the best views of Paris, what else could you ask for, right? Definitely Blisshood approved.
